Managed by council’s experienced Community Venues team, Community CoLab offers a versatile and accessible space accommodating up to 20 people, providing an excellent venue for a variety of small events.

Designed to complement the natural beauty of the Sunshine Coast, Community CoLab is a space that reflects our deep connection to the land, creating an exciting and valuable addition to the Maroochydore City Centre.

Community CoLab is a self-service venue which includes:

Large screen TV to facilitate presentations (HDMI connectivity only)
Whiteboard
Kitchenette with dishwasher, some crockery and glassware
Small fridge, microwave
20 x HUG by SCAB DESIGN stackable polypropylene chairs
8 x white foldable tables on wheels
5 x ottoman chairs
3 x timber stools/low tables
Air-conditioning
WIFI
Shared toilets
Shared accessible parking

Fees and charges

The venue is available to hire from 6:00am to 8:00pm.

Community/Not For Profit (NFP) - hire per hour	$25
Regular bookings - hire per hour	$30
Casual bookings - hire per hour	$40

Venue hire and bond charges are dependent on the hirer and event. To qualify for Community/Not For Profit rate the group, school or government organisation must provide documented proof.

As a self-serviced venue, the hirer access to the venue is via a unique Security Pin (no staff on site). Hirer is responsible for setup, pack down, cleaning, and operational running of their event.
