Be a clever bunny this Easter and hop on board a Free Noosa Holiday Bus

Council have once again joined forces with Tourism Noosa and TransLink to provide free Noosa bus services over the Easter long weekend. Jump on board and enjoy Noosa’s beaches, attractions, shopping and dining without the hassle of finding a car park.

From Good Friday until Easter Monday all local Noosa Sunbus services are free to all residents and visitors (with the exception of Routes 620, 630 & 631). The great news is this year all local buses will operate on Good Friday – to a Sunday timetable.

The Free Holiday Buses are designed to reduce traffic congestion in the Noosa region and to encourage people to give public transport a go.

You can catch almost any bus from any local bus stop between Peregian and Cooran for FREE from Good Friday, 10 April to Easter Monday, 13 April 2009.

Regular services:

Route 626 - St Andrews Drive to Sunrise Beach

Route 627 - Tewantin to Sunshine Beach

Route 628 - Noosa National Park to Parklands

Route 629 - Tewantin to Noosa Heads

Route 632 - Cooran to Noosa Heads via Pomona and Cooroy

Additional temporary services:

Route 064 - Peregian Beach to Noosa Heads

Route 065 (park n’ ride) - Noosa Junction to Tewantin via Gympie Terrace and Noosa Heads - (Catch Route 065 in front of Le Cyclo Sportif and at Noosa 5 Cinemas)

The $2 Boreen Point - Tewantin Taxi will also be FREE from 10 to 13 April.

Timetables will be available at a range of locations including Council’s Tewantin office, Noosa Library, Noosa Aquatic Centre, Noosa Leisure Centre, tourism information centres, shopping centres and Noosa 5 Cinemas.
