The Sunshine Coast Caravan & Outdoor Expo will feature more than 90 exhibitors showcasing an enormous range of caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes, campervans and accessories.

Whether it’s a journey of a thousand miles or a weekend getaway, this is the first step on your next great adventure.

It is the Let’s Go Sunshine Coast Caravan & Outdoor Expo, which is being held at the Nambour Showgrounds from Friday, August 18, to Sunday, August 20.

One of the Sunshine Coast’s largest caravan, camping and outdoor events will feature more than 90 exhibitors showcasing an enormous range of caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes, campervans and accessories.

It is a family-friendly event that will include many free activities, including the popular Walkabout Working Dogs campfire cooking demonstrations with a side of bush poetry and ballads from Ranger Nick, live music on our “VAN JAM” stage.

There will also be Weight and Towing Masterclasses to educate new and seasoned caravan or RV owners about all things weight, loading, towing and safety.

Sunshine Coast Council Division 10 Councillor David Law said the Council-supported event was the ideal opportunity for residents to discover new ways to explore our region and further afield.

“From the hinterland to the beaches, the Sunshine Coast has so many wonderful areas which are worth exploring and experiencing,’’ Cr Law said.

“The Sunshine Coast Caravan & Outdoor Expo can provide you with the inspiration and equipment to enjoy our great outdoors.

Nambour the host with the most

Cr Law said this was one of more than 35 annual events the Nambour Showgrounds played host to, including festivals, trade shows, car clubs, sporting events and major events like the Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show, the Queensland Garden Expo, the Antique Car Club Swap Meet and the Nambour Expo.

“These events attract around 200,000 visitors to our region each year, benefiting our local businesses and our local economy greatly,” he said.

Whether you're a seasoned caravan enthusiast, a newcomer looking for new adventures, or simply wanting to entertain the kids outdoors, the Sunshine Coast Caravan & Outdoor Expo is an event not to be missed.

Caravan Trade and Industries Association of Queensland CEO Jason Plant said that whether you were a seasoned caravan enthusiast, a newcomer looking for new adventures, or simply wanting to entertain the kids outdoors, this event was not to be missed.

“The Sunshine Coast has become one of Australia’s top destinations for caravan and camping visitors and caravan sales within the region have doubled over recent years,” Mr Plant said.

“So, we’re extremely excited to be able to bring the Caravanning Queensland’s Let’s Go Sunshine Coast Caravan & Outdoor Expo back to Nambour in 2023 and provide local people and visitors with more inspiration and opportunities to create terrific outdoor experiences.”
