Your Sunshine Coast Council rates notices have been issued and are due for payment by 21 February. There are a range of convenient online payment methods available to pay your rates, including BPAY and direct debit.

Check your rates notice to see all the ways you can pay and mark your calendar to pay on time. Or, head to MyCouncil and pay today.

Rates by instalments

For those who need a little more flexibility, Council offers the ability to set up an arrangement to pay your rates notice by instalments. Setting up a payment arrangement must be done by 21 February. For more information visit sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au.

Sunshine Coast Council is committed to delivering success, sustainability, and liveability for all residents. We have been busy implementing services and programs that enhance life on the Coast, aiming to create a connected and thriving future for everyone.

Last financial year, Sunshine Coast Council:

  • Assisted more than 282,000 customers.
  • Awarded more than 1,000 community grants, totalling $5.2 million.
  • Invested $6.77 million in lifeguard services, watching over 7.2 million beachgoers.
  • Hosted 930,000 visitors to our 8 libraries.
  • Worked with more than 1,800 volunteers who removed almost 14,000 kilograms of rubbish from our beaches and waterways.
  • Cared for 5,000 hectares of gardens and 60 kilometres of coastline.
  • Invested more than $13 million into new and upgraded parks and playgrounds.
  • Supported local suppliers by spending $350 million in our region.
  • Collected 13 million household bins.
  • Managed 3,000 kilometres of roads.
