Council closures
Over the next few days, cyclonic winds on the Sunshine Coast are expected to be strong making it extremely unsafe for Council staff, volunteers and our community.

Wednesday 5 March 2025 at 3.55pm
To keep everyone safe, from midday today (Wednesday 5 March) Sunshine Coast Council will close our contact centres at Caloundra, Nambour and Sunshine Coast City Hall in Maroochydore and staff will work from home.
Our community can still contact us by phone, online or via the SCC app.
All other externally facing facilities such as our library buildings and mobile libraries, aquatic centres, Caloundra Regional Gallery, Landsborough Museum and Bankfoot House, community venues, sports facilities and environmental facilities will be closed from this afternoon or evening (Wednesday 5 March).
All funerals have been rescheduled until next week.
