Councillor Christian Dickson - Windmill Park Upgrade Sippy Downs
I am thrilled that works at Windmill Park, Sippy Downs are complete.
Windmill Park Upgrade, Sippy Downs
I am thrilled that works at Windmill Park, Sippy Downs are complete. The upgrades included, a new basketball court and line marking, new pathways, new triple shelter, a new double BBQ as well as landscaping and planting. Local parks are at the heart of our communities, so it is important to bring some of our older parks up to scratch. Creating great outdoor places and spaces for residents to actively enjoy is top of my priority list and local projects like this demonstrate my continued commitment to making Division 6 more family-friendly and community focussed.
Supporting our sporting clubs
Sporting groups across the region have scored a much needed boost to keep their fields in tip-top shape thanks to Sunshine Coast Council’s 2020 Sports Field Maintenance Funding Program. I’m thrilled to see that a number of club’s right across our region will receive funding each year, for the next three years. A lot of clubs are really struggling at the moment and this funding will make a huge difference to those local clubs and helps them continue to do what they do best. For more information on the Sports Field Maintenance Funding Program, visit council’s website.
