DUSK – a free, family-friendly outdoor community event celebrating live music, art and culture will do just that on the shores of Lake Kawana at council’s Venue 114 on Sunday, February 24 from 4pm to 8pm.

The impressive line-up of local artists including Malia Sterling, Flaskas and Band of Frequencies is sure to bring the crowds alive on the outdoor stage.

DUSK will also deliver roving entertainment by the creative industry students from Kawana Waters State College, food trucks and the event will be fully licensed. There will also be projections on the back stage at sunset, adding to the idyllic atmosphere.

Grab your diary and book in the 2019 DUSK events scheduled for Sunday, June 16, August 25 and December 1.

Division 3 Councillor Peter Cox said the Sunshine Coast community enjoyed the first DUSK outdoor event and drew crowds from all over the region.

“Lake Kawana offers the perfect backdrop, with its beautiful sunsets over the water, for the family-friendly DUSK events,” Cr Cox said.

“We invite the community to bring their picnic rug and umbrella and set up for a relaxing afternoon of fun and entertainment.

“It will be the perfect way to finish the weekend.”

DUSK is proudly produced by Venue 114 in collaboration with Community Solutions Group.

Parking is free and public transport is available. In the event of wet weather, DUSK will be relocated to inside Venue 114. Dogs on-leash are welcome.
