This special literary event is part of a series of Sunshine Coast Libraries author talks hosted at various locations across the region.
Fiona is the author of more than 30 titles, ranging from fantasy and crime to children’s genres.
Her books The Chocolate Tin, The Perfumer’s Secret, The Tea Gardens and The Lavender’s Keeper are bestsellers around the world.
Fiona was born in England, but spent her childhood in West Africa and now lives in Adelaide.
After a career as a travel columnist and co-founding an award-winning travel magazine, Fiona now travels the world for inspiration and writes full time.
The Pearl Thief is a confronting and heart-stopping story of a damaged woman hunting the man she holds responsible for her childhood trauma during World War II, and whether love and hope can ever overpower the atrocities of war.
Fiona will explore themes of heartbreak, hope and survival with special guest, Mix FM radio personality Sami Muirhead.
Fiona’s book will be available for purchase at the venue.
