Sunshine Coast Council’s AMPED (A Music Program Enabling Development) initiative is calling on budding musicians to attend a free workshop on band and self management.

A collaboration between Arts Queensland’s A-venue program and Q Music, the free event on Tuesday 22 June will give expert tips on how to break into the music scene.

It is perfect for anyone navigating their way through the music industry in a band or as a solo artist or anyone interested in learning the ropes of artist management.

Presented by internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter Asa Broomhall, Gerry Blain from Cracking Toast Management and facilitated by Q Music’s Kellie Lloyd, the session offers advice from experts and the opportunity to network with likeminded locals.

For further information and more details head to the Qmusic website or find AMPED on Facebook.
