In partnership with council, community facilities across the Coast have opened their doors to residents in need.
Several facilities have made their showers available for use by residents experiencing water shortages, which follows the water refill stations made available by council late last week.
Acting Local Disaster Coordinator John Gallina said residents living on water tanks are urged to take advantage of available showers throughout the Coast.
“Council has compiled a list of available hot showers to assist Sunshine Coast residents experiencing water shortages,” Mr Gallina said.
“All council public toilet and public shower facilities are also available to the general public as required.”
