Sunshine Coast Council is proud to present free Neighbour Dispute information sessions throughout May and June at various library locations.

If you are in conflict with your neighbour about overhanging trees, dividing fences or barking dogs then mediation could be the solution to your problem. Learn more about the Department of Justice and Attorney General’s Dispute Resolution Branch by attending free community mediations in your local area.

Library and Gallery Services Manager, Ross Duncan said that mediation is an excellent opportunity for neighbours to manage conflict and come to an agreement without having to go to court.

"Mediators can act as an impartial third party in discussions and as a guide through the process while ensuring both sides receive a fair hearing," he said.

"These mediation sessions are one of the many programs available on the 2012 library calendar of events available to the public."

To book visit the Sunshine Coast Libraries website or call your local library.
