Mooloolaba Sunset Cocktails a must on your social calendar

Imagine sipping cocktails overlooking pure white sand and sparkling water while enjoying the sunset at Mooloolaba Beach.

Well your wish has just come true with the launch of the inaugural Mooloolaba Sunset Cocktails event at Loo with a View from 4pm on Friday, October 27.

Division 4 Councillor John Connolly said council had been working closely with Mooloolaba Business and Tourism to roll out a range of exciting events designed to activate the Mooloolaba precinct.

“I am delighted to announce Mooloolaba Business and Tourism will bring the cocktail party to the people on the last Friday of each month,” Cr Connolly said.

“There will be a range of cocktails, live music and snacks – the only thing missing will be Tom Cruise as the bartender.

“I’m sure Taps Mooloolaba will have all the showy cocktail tricks and charisma to entertain the crowd.

“The Mooloolaba Sunset Cocktails event was designed to get the party started and then guests can head to one of the many restaurants in the popular hospitality precinct.

“Families won’t miss out as the movies on the beach will return over the summer holidays to add to the Mooloolaba events calendar.”

Mooloolaba Business and Tourism president Bruce Ferguson said the Sunset Cocktail event was just one of the many events to be rolled out over the next couple of months.

“The event is sure to be popular so people will need to book early,” Mr Ferguson said.

“Importantly all profits will go back into the Mooloolaba Business and Tourism to support community activities and Mooloolaba promotions.”
