Nambour Library preparing for a new look

Sunshine Coast Council today announced it is revitalising Nambour Library with a new look, to include the installation of new carpet, over the Sunshine Coast Show Day long weekend, 15 to 17 June 2012.

Library and Gallery Services Manager Ross Duncan said the installation of the new carpet is part of an ongoing upgrade of the library to ensure it remains a welcoming and contemporary facility for the community to enjoy.

"We will need to close the library on Saturday 16 June in addition to the show holiday closure on Friday 15 for this work to be undertaken and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause customers," he said.

"However people can still return items to the Nambour Library during the closure via the returns chute.

"All other council libraries will be open on their normal Saturday trading hours.

"Nambour Library will reopen on Monday 18 June at 9am for business as usual."
