Neil Diamond world tour at Sunshine Coast Stadium cancelled

Sunshine Coast Council was saddened to learn legendary, singer, songwriter and performer Neil Diamond announced his retirement from touring due to his recent diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease.

Sunshine Coast Council was saddened to learn legendary, singer, songwriter and performer Neil Diamond announced his retirement from touring due to his recent diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease.

Based on his doctors’ advice, the third leg of Diamond’s 50th Anniversary tour, set to land at council’s Sunshine Coast Stadium on March 22, 2018 had been cancelled.

The onset of the disease has made it difficult for Neil to travel and perform but plans to continue to remain active in writing, recording and other projects.

It is important to note tickets purchased by credit or debit card will be refunded in full by Ticketek (including ticket insurance premium, if relevant). Ticketek have advised this process may take up to 10 working days to appear in bank accounts. For patrons who purchased tickets with cash or EFTPOS, Ticketek will be in contact to arrange a refund.
