Playgrounds at Sunrise Beach and Noosaville have received a new lease on life after council recently upgraded and installed new play equipment for families to enjoy.
Division 11 Councillor Russell Green said it was great to see these two popular local parks receive a much needed upgrade.
"Rainbow Park at Sunrise Beach has a new large combination multi age climbing structure with slide, climbing walls, flying fox, climbing net, double swing and see saw, and the popular swinging basket," Cr Green said.
"A new shade sail will be installed in December to help keep the children cool and protect them from the sun.
"Munna Park at Noosaville has also had its play unit refurbished and a new swing, spring toy and spinner installed.
"The new look parks both have a rubber and soft fall floor to help give a softer landing for the little ones."
"Council has spent $125,000 refurbishing these two parks that were greatly in need of an upgrade."
"The new playgrounds are now completed and ready for the kids to enjoy," Cr Green said.
All of council's playgrounds are designed and installed in compliance with Australian Standards.
