Shedding light on a solar success story
All Energy HQ has ventured overseas to learn from the world's best and will one of seven stall holders providing valuable insights and information at the Cleantech Connect Showcase and Trade Exhibition on Thursday, May 14 at Maroochydore RSL.
From humble beginnings in their home garage, All Energy HQ has grown to a respected provider of the highest quality solar products. The Glass House Mountain-based business has ventured overseas to learn from the world’s best and will one of seven stall holders providing valuable insights and information at the Cleantech Connect Showcase and Trade Exhibition on Thursday, May 14 at Maroochydore RSL.
All Energy HQ Pty Ltd Consultant Leanne Hellmrich said the event was an ideal platform to help strengthen the local cleantech industry.
“All Energy HQ started out in the solar industry in 1989 and has developed to a stage where we now provide commercial installations as well as domestic,” Ms Hellmrich said.
“With a focus on the future, we have also pursued the importation and installation of Lithium-ion battery storage to complement solar and a visit to China last year cemented our belief in the next phase for solar – battery storage.”
“So the future is extremely bright in this industry and we’re very keen to pass on some of the things we’ve learnt to fellow local businesses at the exhibition on May 14.”
Businesses are invited to attend the Cleantech Connect 2015 – “Connect the Dots to improve your bottom line through Clean Technology Solutions”.
Tickets are still available to the event, that will include seven plenary sessions delivered by guest presenters on issues like energy retrofitting, recyclable water, innovations in waste management and support that is available from the Australian Government.
EcoBiz, a free program running across Queensland that helps businesses save on power, water and waste bills, will be among the presenters at the exhibition.
EcoBiz Coach Annie Nolan said local businesses could tap into a wealth of energy savings through the program.
“Our plenary session on May 14 will outline the benefits of EcoBiz along with the support provided through the program and how to get involved,” she said.
“We’ll provide case studies from business who have benefited greatly by engaging in these free services and saving up to 19% on power costs, 31% on water costs and 39% on waste costs.”
Councillor Stephen Robinson said any businesses seeking to reduce costs in an environmentally responsible manner, or add to their green credentials, were recommended to attend the exhibition and make new connections with potential partners and suppliers.
“Implementing Cleantech solutions can contribute to every businesses’ bottom line. Cleantech Connect is an excellent way to see the solutions on offer and how other businesses have implemented them,” Cr Robinson said.
“There will be seven plenary sessions at the exhibition delivered by guest presenters on issues like energy retrofitting, recyclable water, innovations in waste management and support that’s available from the Australian Government.
“Three case studies will also be presented on sustainability, Latronics building and the potential for small-scale biomass energy systems on the Sunshine Coast.”
