The untold story of iconic Australian folk/pop supergroup The Seekers will be unveiled in an incredible musical and visual production, starring founding member Athol Guy at Council’s Nambour Civic Centre on Thursday, July 23 at 7pm.

From afternoon sessions at their local “Treble Cleff” to the world’s stage, you are invited to hear and see the story of The Seekers unfold in a one night only, exclusive live production.

Their story, written and narrated by one of the group’s founding members, Athol Guy, will take you on an audio/visual journey that begins in the sixties and Athol’s teenage years through to modern day, as The Seekers celebrate their 50th anniversary.

Guaranteed to be a night of discovery mixed with light-hearted entertainment, the production features unique and rarely seen footage from The Seekers’ history, as well as live performances chronicling their big hits, and those of their adorned sixties artists that influenced the group in their early years.

Friend and fellow pop star Buddy England will   join the rest of the cast consisting of musical director Michael Cristiano on guitar and vocals, Jenny Blake on vocals and Rod Hulls on keyboards and vocals, to pump out the big hits from Australia’s first “supergroup”.

Give your senses a night out and watch the incredible journey of The Seekers in this sometimes emotional, sometimes funny, but always joyously uplifting production chronicling their career.

Come along for a great night out and be prepared to sing along and celebrate “The Seekers Story”.
