If you have always wanted to be part of the Caloundra Music Festival but can’t sing, strum or strut – here’s your opportunity.
A competition has opened to design a new logo for the festival.
Economic Development Councillor Lew Brennan said it’s a unique opportunity for a designer to make their mark on the Coast’s biggest music event.
"We are looking for an eye-catching logo which captures the essence of Caloundra and the spirit of the festival," Councillor Brennan said.
"We have a highly talented creative community on the Sunshine Coast and we expect to get a diverse range of quality entries.
"The winner will get $1000 and a double pass to the Kings Lounge at CMF2012 – and of course the bragging rights that go with it."
There are also five runner-up prizes - entries are open until 1 February 2012, so get cracking.

This year’s festival promises to be better than ever with the event moved to the new Queen’s Birthday long weekend in September – from the 28th to 30th.
This opens the way for a whole festival "fringe" week which can now begin from Saturday 22 September, the start of the spring school holidays.
Tickets will go on sale around April.
