Chambers Island Park
Access to Chambers Island via a long pedestrian bridge near the intersection of Thomas Street and Bradman Avenue. The island provides large shaded open spaces with a variety of play equipment to entertain the kids as well as picnic facilities, public amenities and access to the Maroochy River.
Chambers Island is a sand island located in the Maroochy River. This is a great location for large gatherings and accessing the Maroochy River.
The Island provides a playground for different age groups with various play equipment to explore. There is plenty of natural shade across the area, as well as picnic shelters, barbecue facilities, large kick and throw areas and plenty of spots to access the river for a swim.
