Martin Rungert Park
The park provides a fully fenced playground under plenty of natural shade as well as a separate play area for older children. There are also shelters with picnic tables and barbecue facilities, public amenities and off street parking
Martin Rungert Park is a shady location with loads on offer. The corner park has two playgrounds - one fully fenced, aimed at younger children and one with no fence aimed at older children. Both play areas are sheltered by spectacular fig trees, providing good shade cover during the hot summer months. This fenced play area is home to the famous colourful train.
Located behind the unfenced playground, is a large long shaded open grass area, great for small games of kick and throw or just lazing around on the grass. There are also several picnic shelters with barbecue facilities scattered within the open grass area to enjoy different vantage points. You'll also find the park provides conveniently placed public amenities at the entrance and parking on the side street. It's a great shady place for family gatherings.
