Community pools

Community swimming pool centres are located throughout the Sunshine Coast. The pools are not managed by council, they are operated by local community groups.

Conondale Pool

Location: The Conondale Pool, located on Maleny-Kenilworth Road, is in the park directly opposite the Conondale Store.

Features: A 20-metre pool for recreational swimming, squad training and learn-to-swim classes. There is also a shaded toddlers play pool.

Kenilworth Pool

Location: The Kenilworth Pool is located on Elizabeth Street, Kenilworth.

Features: A 25-metre pool for recreational swimming.

Maleny Pool

Location: Bunya Street, Maleny next to the Maleny Primary School

Features: The complex offers a 25m pool, learn to swim pool, kiosk and amenities and is open 7 days a week through summer

On November 8, 2018 council considered the findings of a feasibility assessment on locating an indoor aquatic facility at the Maleny Community Precinct. You can view the master plan[7706KB].

In the event that an aquatic facility in Maleny was to become a viable proposition and funding becomes available, a portion of land within the Maleny District Sport and Recreation Club has been identified as the location.

Mooloolah and District Swimming Pool

Location: The Mooloolah Pool is located in the Mooloolah State School grounds.

Features: A 25-metre pool for recreational swimming.
