Kings Beach Ocean Pool

The Kings Beach Ocean Pool (also known as the Sir Francis Nicklin Memorial Pool) is located on the rocks at the northern end of Kings Beach, Caloundra.

Features

Facilities include a 25m sea water pool with lifeguard supervision during Summer, a wading area, disabled access and a children's spray park (water fountain).

Opening hours

  • Ocean pool - all year round - unlocked 4.00am and locked 9.00pm
  • Fountain - all year round - 8.00am to 5.00pm

Please note, environmental coastal conditions and natural oceanic events impact the water quality of the pool as it is linked directly to the adjacent sea water. 

Cleaning

Kings Beach Pool and Fountain is cleaned twice a week, each Monday and Thursday from 3.30pm. Cleaning times may vary during public holiday periods.
