Kinetic (formerly Sunbus) provides frequent bus services for Translink throughout the coast.

View the Sunshine Coast region network map for an overview of Sunshine Coast bus routes, or check out the Sunshine Coast public transport guide

To plan your journey, and for bus and train information and timetables, visit the Translink website or call 13 12 30 anytime.

Tickets and fares

Public transport fares have been reduced to a 50 cent flat rate across all zones and modes on the Translink network.

How to get around:

Contactless payment using a credit or debit card or smart device for adult fares is now available Sunshine Coast bus services (excluding hinterland).

Alternatively, you can use your go card or purchase a single paper ticket from a station fare machine for Kinetic services. Paper tickets cannot be purchased onboard a Kinetic bus service, but can be purchased on hinterland services.

For visitors to the Sunshine Coast, check out Translink’s go explore and go seeq cards.

For more information about tickets and fares and to find your nearest go card retailer, please visit translink.com.au.
