Passive infrared sensor

Uses heat signature to identify number of people passing along a walking track and their direction of movement to help council understand how a location is used, what times, and intensity of use to help inform maintenance requirements and additional upgrades.

Parking sensors

Provides real-time information about how often parking bays are used, how long vehicles stay, and peak times. 

Pedestrian and cycle counters

Monitor how many people use public areas, eg parks and walking trails, allowing council to better maintain and clean facilities.

Object detection camera 

Provides people and vehicle counts and categorisation.  No private information is captured by these cameras.
