Disability
- Queenslanders with Disability Network empower people with disability to participate in the social and economic life of the community.
- Queensland Government provide disability support and services for people with disability, their families and carers.
- Department of Social Services manage Australian Government programs, services, benefits, and payments.
- Vision Australia are the national provider of blindness and low vision services in Australia.
- Deaf Australia provide advocacy and information for deaf people using both English and Auslan.

- Sunshine Coast Access Advisory Network is an organisation supporting the Sunshine Coast to become more accessible.
- Queensland Disability Advocacy Clinic FREE Disability Advocacy clinic on the Sunshine Coast for people with a disability, their families and other support persons.

- Sunshine Coast Dementia Network assist people to find helpful and relevant information about dementia.
- Dementia Australia represent over 400,000 Australians living with dementia and the almost 1.5 million Australians involved in their care.

Accessible toilets and changing places
Most of the public toilets on the Sunshine Coast are open 24/7. To locate public toilets and changing places visit the National Public Toilet Map
The Master Locksmiths Access Key (MLAK) system allows people with disability access to dedicated public facilities, including facilities in National Parks and many Council municipalities, elevators at railway stations, the new Changing Places facilities throughout Australia, disabled toilets that are locked, and even the Liberty Swing.
