You might not have played team sports since your school days. Associations run the competitions and will assist you find a club near you. Sporting clubs welcome new members throughout the year and host 'come and try' events, season registration days and may offer free introductory sessions.

Walking Football is low-impact, team based exercise specifically non-contact with players and always having one foot on the ground. There are defined Walking Football Rules and Formats and matches are played with modified formats so everyone can enjoy playing. The game focusses on passing rather than speed and running and is played on smaller pitches with shortened game times.
Run by Baringa Football Club, this affordable sport aims to promote health, wellbeing and the social benefits of regular football especially for older people.
