Please be advised the Free Trees for rate payers program won’t operate over the Christmas/New Year period. Wednesday 25th December and Wednesday January 1st the Nursery will be closed. The program will recommence Wednesday January 8th.

Ratepayers can collect two free tube stock plants from the nursery at council's Caloundra depot located on Industrial Avenue. Ratepayers are invited to collect their trees with rates notice to be sighted as per the free tree policy.

Note:

  • trees can only be collected on Wednesdays between 1.00pm and 3.00pm (nursery open time)
  • 2 plants can be collected every 6 months with a current Sunshine Coast Council rates notice
  • council provides a selection of trees, either small medium or large. Council does not stock any shrubs or ground covers.

Free trees are also distributed via a free tree day, which councillors organise in their respective divisions.

For more information contact council.
