Coolum Beach
Beach Access Points 68 - 81. This is a family friendly surf beach patrolled year round with nearby parks, boardwalk, restaurants, cafes and takeaway food outlets. Home of the Coolum Beach Surf Life Saving Club.
Coolum Beach is a family friendly patrolled open beach with parks and a boardwalk. Tickle Park next to the Coolum Surf Club has many play and picnic facilities. Tickle Park and the lifeguard tower can be found at beach access point 77.
Beach Access Points 68 - 81 include Coolum North Beach and Coolum Main Beach, which are patrolled beaches. For detailed information on patrolled times, visit the Beachsafe website for Coolum and Coolum North.
Accessible matting is now available here on weekends during the volunteer patrol season.
Dogs are permitted off-leash at all times on the beach from the Lions and Norrie Job Park at the northern end of Coolum Beach Holiday Park (Beach Access point 72) extending to Beach Access point 68, 1 km north of Stumers Creek car park. To protect our foreshores and native animals, dogs are NOT permitted in the dunal areas, the Stumers Creek Bushland Conservation Reserve or the Noosa National Park. The beach and adjacent parks are popular for wedding ceremonies and events and can be booked.
