Gyndier Road, the old Cooroy Tewantin Road, is full of curves and switchbacks amidst giant gums and peaceful palms. A great hill climb for cyclists wanting to get up to the hinterland or Cooroy, or for families wanting to teach their children how to ride a bike on a safe and mixed flat and steep course.

Up on the range

There is spectacular riding and views to be had on our mountains ranges. Explore Sunrise Road in the Noosa hinterland, Black Mountain Road and Carter's Ridge west of Cooroy.

The views south towards Conondale National Park are breathtaking. Enjoy the thrill of riding through Mapleton, Montville and Maleny, overlooking the coast and the Glasshouse Mountains.

A lakeside lap

From Tewantin you can enjoy a flat ride along back roads to the quaint and historic lakeside town of Boreen Point.

Enjoy a rest stop and coffee by Lake Cootharaba or just up the road a beer, wine or lunch at the historic Apollonian Hotel or the new Cootharabar at Elanda Point. A great 45 km round trip.
