Twin Waters Beach (Maroochy north shore)
Beach access points 131 to 136. There is a lifeguard tower and public amenities at beach access point 131 and public amenities and picnic shelters at the end of North Shore Road. Quieter open stretch of beach, patrolled year round. Unpatrolled off-leash dog beach at end of road.

Dogs are allowed off lead at all times on the ocean side between the low water mark and the base of the dune area, from 140m north of beach access 132 to 136. This off leash area includes Pin Cushion Island and part of the Maroochy River to beach access 136 only.
Dogs are not permitted off leash on the river side west of beach access 136. To protect our foreshores and native animals, dogs are NOT permitted within the dunal Maroochy River-Mudjimba foreshore bushland conservation reserve. There are dog wash facilities near the public amenities block in North Shore Road park.
