Council’s quarries are located at Image Flat and Dulong.
Image Flat quarry has been in operation since the 1960s, and Dulong since the 1970s. Today these quarries supply premium quality rock products for the construction, maintenance and repair of the region's 2597km of sealed roads and 474km of unsealed roads.
Council and ratepayers receive significant savings by using material from these quarries.
