Invasive weeds project - demonstration sites
The invasive weeds project (2021-2026) is funded through the environment levy.
The purpose of the project is to undertake a variety of weed management control options and trials at key locations:
- Maleny Community Precinct Demonstration Site monitoring points (PDF, 13.1MB) and latest project update (PDF, 424KB)
- Witta demonstration site - Weed management and restoration works project news (PDF, 544KB).
Explore alternative weed management practices, this includes:
- innovative technology for invasive plant identification, management, monitoring, and surveillance
- education and extension to the community about trial outcomes.
