Kings Beach is a very popular patrolled beach with the Caloundra (Mets) Surf Club located on Spender Lane at the northern end of the Precinct. The Kings Beach Ocean Pool at the northern end of the sand beach is a 25m sea water pool with disabled access and a children's wading area. Kings Beach is a popular for learning to surf as it is south east facing and waves are reduced by Moreton Island. The beach is popular for wedding ceremonies and events.

Kings Beach Access points are from 283 - 291. A section of this beach is patrolled, for information on patrol times visit the Beachsafe website.

Accessible matting is now available here on the weekends during the volunteer patrol season.
