Jason Murphy is a Jinibara man from Southeast Queensland, his artwork uses acrylic paintings, collage and drawings to tell stories of issues affecting Aboriginal people.

The artwork is a representation of past laws that affected the Aboriginal community, with the panels being positioned to represent an exclamation mark. The images are made using a stamping technique, referencing the stamping of permits used for the community in the past.
