There's lots for you are your family to enjoy with Mountain Biking (MTB) on the Sunshine Coast. Purpose built tracks for beginners, intermediate and advanced riders and everything from forest tracks and fire trails to shared pathways and parks. Choose from a range of locations, distances, difficulty levels and on-site facilities to find the ride that's right for you.
Local clubs partner with Healthy Sunshine Coast and you can find a club, join a ride, attend events and workshops across the region - all year round.
Bushrangers Mountain Bike Club
The Bushrangers MTB club have been riding throughout the region for over 20 years. They offer weekly club rides, beginners rides, races, trail building and more. There's also 'Go Girls' a ladies only riding group created to help women get into mountain biking with regular group rides in a supportive and fun environment.
The clubs welcome people of all levels especially beginners and people with bikes but no off-road experience. If you are new to the region or new to mountain biking, friendly club members will provide all the information you need to enjoy mountain biking and join in the many club activities.
At the Parklands Trail, there's a range of tracks suited to different levels of ability and interest. The club invests time and resources in building and maintaining the trails at Parklands. You can get involved in Trail Care days and other projects.

Caloundra Offroad Cycling Association CORCA
CORCA believes mountain biking is for everyone and offers a welcoming, family friendly community. The group supports all levels of riding abilities and offers a wide range of activities from beginners to long time mountain bikers. In addition to Saturday morning club rides, there's 'CORCA Kids' and 'Women on Wheels" with lots of other events throughout the year. You can enjoy a four-week trail membership for free.
At Sugar Bag Mountain Bike Trails, there are a series of 11 trails rated green through black. The groups helps develop and maintains the trail network to a high standard and you get get involved in Trail Care.

Learn to ride MTB this year
Healthy Sunshine Coast Learn to Mountain Bike workshops - dates to be announced soon.
Ideal for adults and teenagers who are competent bike riders, the workshop builds specific mountain biking skills and special know-how from qualified and experienced trainers. Experience training on on open fields before heading onto the tracks with your instructors. Hardworking and dedicated members of CORCA partner with Healthy Sunshine Coast to deliver these low cost half day workshops.

Recreational Partnerships
In this region, recreation clubs are supported by council through the Recreational Trails Partnership Program which offers community organisations multi-year funding to support nature based recreational infrastructure and its access and use by the community.
