Minor Grants

Project funding for not-for-profit community groups up to $2000.

OPEN NOW. Apply for your minor grant (applications accepted via the Major Grant application form). Applications close 10 March 2025.

Can your not-for-profit group make our community more active, vibrant, inclusive, resilient and creative?

Minor grants support not-for-profit organisations to deliver one-off projects, events and activities with broad community benefit.

Always check the guidelines for eligibility and priorities before applying.

Note: if applying for community event funding, please apply under the category best aligned with your event's purpose. If applying for a Christmas, New Year (December 31-January 1), Australia Day, ANZAC Day or Remembrance Day event, please see council's new Festive and Commemorative Events grants.

When funding is available?

You can apply for a minor grant in the Major Grants round which is open from 28 January to 10 March. Please click on the Major Grants page for the application form links. This is the last opportunity to apply for a minor grant this financial year. 

When will I know if I have been successful?

Approximately 8 weeks from closing date.

What funding is available?

Up to $2000.
