20 November 2025 - Save the date now!

Another exciting Healthy Ageing Forum is scheduled for 20 November 2025 and this time the theme is - Creative Connections in the Biosphere: Nurturing Mind, Mood and Community in Ageing.

As we age, maintaining mental agility, emotional wellbeing, and social engagement in our local environment becomes more vital than ever.

Creative Connections in the Biosphere: Nurturing Mind, Mood & Community in Ageing is a dynamic forum that explores how creativity—in all its forms—can be a powerful tool for healthy ageing.

Bringing together health professionals, community leaders, researchers, and older adults, this event will highlight innovative approaches to supporting cognitive health, emotional resilience, and meaningful connection through the arts, storytelling, music, movement, and intergenerational activities.

Hear from health professionals and community leaders including:

  • Dr Tricia King - researcher at UniSC in creative arts health, specialising in innovative approaches to enhancing older people’s wellbeing through participatory visual methodologies.
  • Dr Leah Barclay - sound artist, designer and researcher at UniSC who works at the intersection of art, science and technology.
  • Dr Amanda Clacy - Research, Impact and Innovation Manager at Comlink Australia who is passionate about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in healthy ageing.
