Electric Scooters or eScooters, both two and three wheeled, are becoming a popular way to get around. There are a few regulations that users need to be aware of before using them on pathways and on roads across the region to stay safe. The regulation of electric scooter use on public roadways and footpaths is a shared responsibility between State and local Government. The State Government has released new rules on electric scooter use. To find out more information on the safe use of electric scooters please see the Queensland Government site.
