Caxton Community Legal Centre

Caxton Community Legal Centre is an independent community organisation providing free legal advice, social work services, information and referrals.
The Queensland Retirement Village and Park Advice Service (QRVPAS) is a free legal service that aims to help residents:
• understand their rights and responsibilities under the Retirement Villages Act 1999 (Qld) and the Manufactured Homes (Residential Parks) Act 2003 (Qld)
• obtain the knowledge and skills to present their interests to village and park operators and resolve disputes
• have increased access to appropriate legal information and advice.
Queensland (Workplace) Sexual Harassment and Discrimination Service:
Caxton Legal Centre provides free legal advice, representation and social supports to some people who have experienced sexual harassment or discrimination. We have a specific service that assists people who experience sexual harassment and discrimination in the workplace.
The Queensland Coronial Legal Service:
• provides legal advice about any aspect of the coronial process and associated issues
• can provide representation for bereaved family members appearing in some inquests when the matter fits within our casework guidelines
• works with other service providers and can help families connect with social work, counselling and other support services.
