The Majestic Theatre Pomona

The Majestic Theatre is located in the heart of the Noosa Hinterland in the small historic town of Pomona. The Majestic Theatre is a not for profit, small community run theatre and cinema that has been in operation for over 100 years.

The Majestic offers facilities for live events, functions and fundraisers. It has a licensed bar, commercial kitchen, and seats 170. It is the only theatre in the world that continually screens silent films in the authentic way with a live organist. The theatre houses a very rare 1937 Compton Organ, of which there are only four in QLD.

The organ, played by Chris Rose accompanies all of the silent film screenings. You can book a private viewing or join in a general pubic screening on any Saturday at 12 noon. The cost is $15 and free for kids 13 and under.
