Twin Waters Residents' Association

Twin Waters, where the river meets the ocean, is an award-winning, master-planned community on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. It was developed from 1996 by Lend Lease, one of Australia’s leading corporations. The first land in the area, known as The Landings, went on sale in July 1997 and quickly sold out. Development in stages continued until the early 2000s and Lend Lease left in 2005.

The Twin Waters Residents Association (TWRA) was formed in July 1999. On May the 9th 2003, Twin Waters became a separate suburb in its own right, previously being part of the Mudjimba suburb.

The Association established the unique and trailblazing landscape maintenance regime that gave our suburb more regular mowing, trimming and collection of garden waste in our parks and roadside areas, for an additional fee. This regime has since been adopted by several other new developments across the Sunshine Coast. This is why Twin Waters always looks so attractive. A sub-committee regularly liaises with Council regarding upkeep.

We hold regular events including Christmas Carols and a Party in the Park both sponsored by Sunshine Coast Council’s grants programme. We publish a newsletter monthly which is delivered to every letterbox in Twin Waters and have regular bi-monthly meetings at the Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort.

Anyone with an interest in Twin Waters is welcome to join.
