Construction will start soon on renewing the existing footpath along Boolarong Crescent and Mayfield Street, Alexandra Headland.
A total length of 230 metres of path will be replaced. This work will mitigate existing dust issues and facilitate grass regrowth while still providing access to the park.

Currimundi , Coongarra Esplanade - On-street parking

Sunshine Coast Council will soon be upgrading the existing informal parking area on the Currimundi Lake side of Coongarra Esplanade.

The works will include upgrading 14 asphalt, on-street, parking spaces. Parking will no longer be permitted along the remaining sections of Coongarra Esplanade. The existing hardwood bollards within the park will be relocated within half a metre of the road.
This work will mitigate existing dust issues and facilitate grass regrowth while still providing access to the park.

Eudlo, Logwoods Road and Perrins Road - Gravel road upgrade

Sunshine Coast Council will soon start construction on upgrading sections of Logwoods Road and Perrins Road, Eudlo.

Upgrades along Perrins Road will extend approximately 500 metres south from the intersection of Logwoods Road to the existing sealed section. Works on Logwoods Road will extend pproximately 450 metres west from the intersection of Perrins Road to the existing sealed section.
Works will include sealing and culvert upgrades to improve dust suppression and safety for all road users.

Eumundi, Seib Road - New pedestrian bridge

Construction will soon start on a new pedestrian bridge and boardwalk over the North Maroochy River at Eumundi.

Running next to the existing road bridge on the southern side of Eumundi-Noosa Road, this new three-metre-wide pedestrian bridge, pathway and boardwalk will be separate from vehicles. It will provide a safer pedestrian link between Seib Road and Albert Street, Eumundi.
Council partnered with the Department of Transport and Main Roads throughout the design and construction phases of this project.
The Australian and Queensland Governments have funded the $6 million project under a 50-50 split, as part of the Road Safety Program.

Work will soon commence on the replacement of the Kiamba Road timber bridge. The existing bridge and some elements of the bridge piles will be replaced with a similar timber structure.
The new bridge is being constructed off site and will be lifted into position to reduce the interruption to traffic.

We will be installing a new pedestrian refuge along Mudjimba Esplanade, Mudjimba.
This will greatly improve pedestrian safety and accessibility for our community crossing from the beach to the bus stop, amenities and skate park.
Three carparks will be lost on the eastern side of Mudjimba Esplanade to allow for the crossing to meet pedestrian safety standards.
